Meet Alexis Hernandez my first and most unexpected college BESTIE! Y'all need to hear the story sometime, it is a good one. She is a wifey to her high school sweetheart, Arturo, since June 2, 2018.
You cannot leave out her "dog mom" title to to Dexter & Vader! She is serving the Lord with her gifts and talents as a Geriatric Psych Nurse. In her free time, she loves spending time with family & friends. To know her is to love her. She is a living example of JOY in every season. I love this girl so much and am so honored that she has taken the time to share her heart for Christ with y'all.
Here are a few fun facts from Alexis to get to know her better:

Here's her answer to:
"How is God calling to you to be Set Apart in your current season of life?"
I truly feel like the Lord is calling me to be set apart in this season of my life by serving those around me with a joyful, giving, and loving heart!
I just recently started a new job and it’s been a challenge. My patients have quickly made me realize that I am there to serve them through love and to give myself to them wholeheartedly in their hardest moments. To be a listening ear, to be a shoulder to cry on, to be there for a hug, or just a simple hello.
As a wife, I am still learning how to show my husband I love him through acts of service. This isn’t easy for me! I’m a words girl (as you can tell by the length of this “small” blog!) The Lord is showing me new ways to love him well. I have to be intentional in serving him with a giving and loving heart.
As a friend, I feel called to be a safe place. To welcome people to my table who may not feel loved or wanted. I truly feel the Lord tugging on my heart for those who need a friend or just someone to talk to without fear of judgment. We all need someone.
I pray this encourages you to live set apart for God! I’m not perfect at this but I am so thankful that God does not expect perfection! He wants you! Run to Him sister with a joyful heart, His arms are open wide!
