SET APART

Psalm 4:3 “But know that the Lord has set apart the godly for himself; the Lord hears when I call to him.” The Lord put the words “set apart” on my heart as a 13-year-old girl. I committed then, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to be set apart in a look alike world. As a young girl with big dreams I started this commitment by praying for my future husband… long before I even knew who Tucker (my now husband) was. 11 years later God has grown that phrase to be a banner over my life. I could tell you so many stories. So many ways that the Lord has come through for me. So many times and it’s been hard to be set apart. So many times that the Lord has set me a part in a place I didn’t want to be. In each and every season I have seen my God be faithful! So I wear these words proudly with a heart for ministry, and a confident understanding that the Lord is not done with me. Nor, is He done with you! Be encouraged! Take heart!
