Revival Recap- LORD, do it Again!

Writer's picture: Landis GibsonLandis Gibson

It's been one whole week since the Set Apart Living Revival. I pray that your hearts are still stirred for revival as they were that night.

Thank you to each person who took the time to attend. It was a joy to see each of your beautiful faces in the audience all night. I know that the Lord put exactly who HE wanted to be in that room. You were there on purpose and for a purpose. The Lord has good plans for your life. May the cry of each of our hearts be "Here I am Lord, send me". (Isaiah 6:3)

As we come off of a "spiritual high" from last week I want to share a special reminder. As we discussed on that night we don't have to wait for "A traveling preacher, an organized event, or trending move of God to experience God". We find that revival starts in ordinary places with ordinary people just like you and me. We need to be faithful where our feet are and that can be so hard. Yet, we can trust that God is at work in the MIDDLE of our stories.

Maybe you find yourself at work, school, or at home and you heart is crying, "There's nothing special here. Lord, I want to be used, but here, really?"

Yes there. Even there. He is working.

So, my dear sister, I challenge you to stay in the word. Stay planted on your knees as the men and women before us did. Pray, "Do it again Lord. Lord, would you do it again? And would you do it again with me?'

He can do so much with ONE surrendered heart. Will you pray for revival this week? He can do it again. In our day, and in our time!!!! (Habakkuk 3:2) I don't want to miss out on the great things He wants to do, even in me.

May this be our prayer this week:

Lord,

I'm your girl. I want your best for my life. Sometimes that does not feel fun, but I trust that you are working all things out for your glory and my good. I surrender all. I have faith that you are the God of Revival. Would you send revival again? Lord to my heart, my home, my community. Oh Lord please do it again. I want to see your name glorified and spread to all in my life. Lord, work on me. I know there are so many areas of my life that need revival. I pray that revival would spread, but I recognize revival starts with me. So here I am, all in for YOU.

In Jesus Name,

Amen

Thank You!

I wanted to give a special shout out to all the people that made this event happen.

First, thank you Kaleigh for using your beautiful voice to lead us in worship. I was so moved by our time together singing, I know so many of you were blessed as well. Kaleigh also spent countless hours behind the scenes writing the revival notes, praying, and prepping a million details with me. What a joy to have a sister in Christ to do life with!

To my sweet Mama, Tammy Seagraves. To know her is to love her. She spent many phone calls and dinner meetings helping me prepare for what to share Friday. As the owner of Graceful Gospel Dance Academy, she helped facilitate the dance performances you all enjoyed that night. In addition, she was a financial sponsor. Without her tis event would not have been possible. Most of all I am thankful for her prayers. From the beginning of my life till today. She loved the Lord and serves Him faithfully. It is a beautiful example of true Christianity. As many of you know her word for 2023 is REVIVAL. This whole idea stemmed from the One Word event message she shared at New Year's Day and grew from a million different things that the Lord brought into my path to confirm this vision.

To the Graceful Gospel Dance Academy Dancer and Moms. Thank you! Thank you for coming with a heart of worship. It was a sweet treat to watch them dance under the blue sky on a perfect day. Almost like a glimpse of heaven. As a dancer myself I know it takes many hours to prepare each dance. Then on the day of it takes a village to have the tutu ready, fix hair and makeup, and practice the routine. A big thank you to all the Moms, Dads, and caregivers who helped get each dancer to the event!

To Holly Roberson McDowell, a former GGDA student, thank you for your passionate dance performance. We all need to reminder that "Fear is a Liar". We must cling to the promised of God to live in perfect peace.

To all the swag bag and giveaway sponsors, thank you! Didn't y'all love all the amazing goodies? I want to give them a shout out and link their business here. Please go check out their businesses if any of you are interested in purchasing more of their products:
