Make Heaven Crowded

What an excellent reminder that we should spend every day sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. There is nothing big or small better than sharing His name. We cannot let the dirt of the world tarnish our view of how important things to come are. Heaven is the ultimate destination for the Christ follower. All of this mess we have down here on earth is just temporary. That's something to be thankful for. Some days here are good, others are bad. Yet, even the best day on earth cannot compare to a moment in heaven! The Bible points to the splendor that we cannot even imagine many times throughout Scripture.

But, as it is written,

“What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”

1 Corinthians 2:9 ESV

We know God is good, I have seen His faithfulness and splendor over and over again. Taking a look at nature is an easy way to see His majestic nature. On this earth we get to enjoy the beauty of sunsets, the breathtaking mountain view, or my personal favorite, the ocean shore. These things we stop and marvel at. We plan out time in our lives to go visit these places to take in the view (and a few pictures to help us remember later) of how beautiful creation is. This is awesome, yet this is just the sneak peak of a place so much greater.

In Heaven there is no more,

Sin

Death

Tears

ONLY....

Praise Worship

and

Love for the Savior.

"Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.

Revelation 22:1-5 ESV

In reflection on these two verses the believer has to get excited about the life to come, but who will be there with you? Do you have loved ones who are lost, not believing and living the truth of the gospel? I do. We all do. Even if it's not someone in your immediate circle, we are constantly in contact with lost souls. It could be the barista that hands you your morning coffee, the teacher at your child's school, the co-worker you talk to every day, or the person on the other line of the phone. You don't know, but the one thing we know for sure is we should always be asking.

So today, what are you doing to share the gospel? Are you actively seeking to have "gospel conversations" with people? Are you and I constantly on high alert on how we can minister to someone and show them the love of God? If not, start today!

The only thing you cannot do in Heaven is share the gospel, so do it now.

Let's Make Heaven Crowded together!
