“I’m HERE FOR IT.”
That’s been my friendship saying this week. Whatever your “it” is it’s better to go at it with someone else.
Yes, I’m here for it. Whatever that means. I’m here for the good, the bad, the ugly. I’m here to listen. I’m here to cry with you, to brainstorm about what’s next, to hurt, to heal, to rejoice, to hope. I’m here for it all.
I say this with a genuine spirit and a grateful heart because you’ve done the same for me.
God did not have to allow our paths to cross, but I thank Him all the time that we became friends. You are so intentional, determined, and JOYFUL! You bring a refreshing spirit to those around you!! What a gift.
Neither of us have had a perfect path these past few years, yet we’ve grown. I’ve seen the goodness and faithfulness of God over and over again. You have too. We could recall so many “God stories” we have prayed over each other’s lives and then seen God answer. What a blessing!
When we live with open hands, sometimes things are taken we did not expect. But an open handed life is always best…even when it’s the worst.
God is good. Even when it looks like He’s not being good, don’t loose heart. In His love and sovereign nature He will work out things in the life of His people for His glory. We can believe it.
I’ve seen it before.
You’ve seen it with me.
We will see it again.
Love you through the highs and lows. God has good things in store for you! I can’t wait to be your biggest cheerleader through it all!
For anyone reading all the way down and struggling today know I get what disappointment looks like… my girl Alexis does too. But this is not the end. Run to Jesus my friend. Truly, only HE can show us the path of life!
