Girl, I Get It!

Girl I get it...

You’re busy.

You’re tired.

You’re stressed out.

School is getting to you.

Your man is driving you crazy.

You’re hiding.

You feel alone.

You’re not sure what comes next.

You don’t know what to do.

You’re not confident anyone will understand.

You feel judged.

You’re depressed.

Your anxiety is through the roof.

You’re sick of crying on the bathroom floor.

You don’t know if it will get better.

I’ve been in all of those places. Yes, all of them. For me, that's embarrassing to say but it’s true. In every season of life I know God is able, but living it out.. well that’s a lot harder to do! Just because you know He’s there doesn’t mean your emotions don’t take over in the moment. It doesn’t meant that your joyful heart can’t have depressing moments. We live in a broken world. We are filled with sin. Living for God is not our natural tendency, rather our calling. Everyone is given the opportunity to accept Jesus, and even on my darkest day He has been the one thing I could count on.

Don’t get me wrong I have a big beautiful life filled with hundreds of answered prayers and testimonies. Still it’s a struggle sometimes.

If you are struggling today, know you are not alone. Let the Lord use your hard thing for His glory. Rely on him. Talk to Him about what you are feeling, remember He already knows it all.

Be real.

Read the word.

Pray.

Fill your life with godly things,

and WAIT.

You just wait, I promise He has something in store for you and for me. May we be found faithful in the waiting.
