Hey friends, it's Landis here. I wanted to take a minute to explain my heart behind this NEW guest writer series. This Fall I am hosting the first ever Set Apart Living Ladies Conference. This is going to be a wonderful time of worship, teaching, and fellowship with a sweet group of ladies. If you haven't signed up for this event go register right now! The link is on all of my social media pages as well as on the previous post here on the blog. If you have any questions please, don't hesitate to reach out!
In preparation for this event, I wanted to focus on the conference theme, FAITHFULNESS. The faithfulness of our everlasting Father. You will be hearing more from me on this topic at the event, but to prepare our hearts and minds I have invited a few ladies to share their "God stories" here on the blog.
First up is Miss Rylee Minish:

Rylee is a beautiful 19-year-old who loves Jesus! She is currently in Nursing School with the goal of becoming a Nurse practitioner and maybe even a medical missionary. She loves her family, her dogs, and cooking. Her love for Jesus shines brightly. She truly has a passion to serve HIM and bring others to Him. I can't wait for you to read her story!
First, a few fun facts about Rylee:
What is your favorite Fall activity?
Watching Gilmore Girls.
What's your favorite Fall food and/or drink?
Pecan pie and pumpkin cream cold brew.
What Bible verse or passage are you meditating on right now?
Isaiah 58:11
"The LORD will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden. And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail."
How long have you had a relationship with Jesus?
All my life...I was saved/baptized when I was 8 years old, but through my early teenage years, I was very distant in my relationship with the Lord. In 2019 after a week of camp I was absolutely on fire for Jesus like never before and was baptized again there. Ever since then I have strived to stay close, of course not without fail. I am always grateful that He keeps me close to me even when I am far away.
Here is her answer to "How have you seen the faithfulness of God play out in your life?"
" I feel like I am always seeing the Lord’s faithfulness in my everyday life. I am a planner… and I am also a panicker. When things don’t go my way I feel like everything is falling apart. Yet every time, the Lord shows me that He will never let things fall apart. Instead, He is always putting it together. I learn to love Him more and more every day as He is faithful, even when I am not...even when I panic.
I always feel like I don’t have a “real” testimony because I have always known Jesus. I don’t have a story that will bring tears to your eyes or have you on the edge of your seat. But I do have a “real” testimony. I see Him every day. I have seen Him work things out in beautiful ways that I could have never foreseen. I have seen Him take a situation, and a year later, explain it to me and show me why He worked things out the way He did. He is a good Father. I am in an intimate relationship with Him where I get to see Him work in my daily life. He is the creator of the stars and every single evening sky...and He holds my life in His hands and calls me beloved.
So when asked when I have seen His faithfulness in my life, my answer is: when have I not seen His faithfulness?! He is so so good, and I am in constant awe of the way He moves in my life. "
Wow, thank you Rylee for sharing your heart! It is always encouraging to hear other women who are seeking God's face and seeing His faithfulness throughout their lives. I believe that so many can relate to your testimony. Through all our anxieties and questions He remains the same. We can trust His plan for our lives...even before we understand it all!
