In my senior year of high school I created a project called “Dance the Word”. It was a idea, that turned into a dream, that developed into a project, that has gone on to impact so many lives.
Who would’ve guessed that years later that little “DVD dance project” (Yes, I know DVD’s are not a thing anymore😉)would be a part of some thing so big!✝️
Now, 6 years later those Bible passage dances are still a resource for girls of ALL ages to memorize God’s Word. Wow! He is so faithful. I can truly see how HIS Word never returns void.
For those of you who are not familiar with this project let me give you a few details. Dance the Word combines multiple tools for memorizing scripture into one easy resource. “See the Word, Say the Word, Dance the Word.” With these three senses combined we invite your whole body to memorize God’s Word. Just as songs and hand motions from childhood days stick with us, so too we remember the words here set to dancing motion.🩰
Each girl you see in these pictures, along with several others have memorized 10 passages of Scripture this semester at @gracefulgospeldance. This truly shines the heart of the studio to “Share Christ with the world through the graceful art of dance”. I am so humbled that God allowed Dance the Word to play a role in this Mega Scripture Memory Project.
My prayer is that these verses serve each girl well all the days of her life. In hearts of all ages may it move them to know and love God more than ever! May He be remembered in hard and heavy seasons, and may He be praised for all His wonderful works!🙏🏻
